He said this during inauguration ceremony of second Afghan-Iran expo in Kabul, which was attended by senior officials from both the countries, including Iranian Ambassador to Afghanistan Mohammad Raza Bahrami.
As many as 84 companies from Iran and 16 from Afghanistan showcased their food, construction, agriculture, fashion, industrial, electric and mines related materials in the four-day exhibition.
Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ACCI) said that the total volume of goods Kabul imports from Iran stands at $1.6 billion while the value of exports to Iran by Afghanistan is $60 million.
Iranian Deputy Chief Executive Dr. Mohammad Shariatmadari was also present on the occasion. He said Iran wanted to enhance political, economic and cultural ties with Afghanistan.
