KABUL with religious zeal and fervour.

For the faithfuls, Eid Milad-u-Nabi (SAWW) is highly regarded religious festival as they express gratitude and thanks to Allah Almighty for blessing the universe with Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).

A big gathering is held at the Shuhada-i-Salihin Masjid in the capital Kabul to celebrate the revered day. Ulema and scholars addressed the gatherings across the country, with some towns were tastefully decorated to celebrate the event in a befitting manner.

Dr. Mohammad Ayaz Niazi, Imam, said the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is the only way to lead a better life. He preached to follow the teachings of tolerance, understanding and respect for humanity.

He highlighted various aspects of the life of the Prophet (PBUH) during his speech, urging to follow the golden principles of Islam to achieve success in the world and hereafter.

He asked the Ulma to put aside their differences and work for the prosperity of the country, adding that differences on trivial issues had promoted to wider conflicts in the Muslim Ummah.

Maulvi was under western culture. The companions of the Prophet (PBUH) had celebrated the day as well, he added.
