JALALABAD (Pajhwok): One girls’ school has been blown up and another damaged by unidentified attackers in eastern Nangarhar province, an official said on Thursday.
The schools came under attack in Haska Mina district last night, Education Department spokesman Mohammad Asif Shinwari told Pajhwok Afghan News.
He said the “enemies of education” blindfolded school guards and threw them out on the road. Later, the Shibli Girls’ School was bombed out.
Another school in the same area was ransacked, Shinwari said, office record and cupboards were damaged, Shinwari added.
