Iranian citizen held with Afghan identity card

KABUL’s identity card in western Herat province, an official said on Thursday.

Authorities recovered an Iranian passport, an Afghan ID card and 40,000 afghanis from the detainee, the provincial police spokesman told Pajhwok Afghan News.

Col. Rauf Ahmadi said that two Afghans, who allegedly connived with the Iranian national at the theft, had also been arrested.
