Militants gun down teacher in Logar

UL-I-ALM (Pajhwok): Unidentified gunmen shot dead a teacher of the Daudkhel School in Pul-i-Alam, the capital of central Logar province, on Saturday, an official said.

Director of Education Akbar Stanikzai told Pajhwok Afghan News militants gunned down Abbas early in the morning when he was on his way to school.

The teacher had no enmity with anyone and enjoyed a good reputation. Brig. Gen. Abdul Hakim Ishaqzai, the police chief, confirmed the teacher’s killing.
