KABUL.

In October, Pakistan) chief Rizwan Akhtar arrived here.

The Pakistani officials held talks with President Ashraf Ghani and other Afghan officials on various issues including security, economy and culture.

President Ghani is also scheduled to visit Pakistan this weekend at the invitation of Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

Speaking at today’s session, lawmaker Abdul Qadir Qalatwal said the outcome of Pakistani officials’ visits remained unknown, something the people wanted to know.

His colleague from Baghlan province, Dr. Muhiuddin Mehdi said public representatives should have been present during meetings with Pakistani officials.

He added the people should have information about Afghanistan’s relations with other countries in this critical situation.

Speaker Abdul Rauf Ibrahim said the purpose of Pakistani officials visits was unclear. He directed the international relations commission to summon the officials concerned to the house for a briefing.
