JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Six civilians were killed and two others wounded in a roadside bombing in eastern Nangarhar province on Monday, an official said.
The incident took place in the Pandola locality of Achin district this afternoon, Ahmad Zia Abdulzai, the governor spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
The town’s administrative chief, Malak Aslam Allahyar confirmed the blast. He added a brief clash also took place between security forces and rebels in the area.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the blast.
