Nationwide book distribution drive begins
Speaking at a ceremony in the capital, Jilani hoped the distribution campaign would help overcome the shortage of curriculum books for primary classes.
Kabir Haqmal, the ministry’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that all primary schools across the country would get the books within two months.
Funded by the USAID, the scheme will cost $21 million. Most of students, he said, would overcome the problem of book shortage.
