KABUL: (Pajhwok): President Ashraf Ghani, heading a high-level delegation, left for the United Arab Emirate (UAE) on Monday, his office said.
Accompanied by senior governmental officials, Ghani left Kabul for Abu Dubai, the UAE capital, in the evening.
During the two days trip, the president will meet UAE Prime Minister Sheikh Muhammad Bin Rashed Al Maktoum.
He will also call on Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Muhammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on strengthening relationship between Afghanistan and the UAE.
Similarly, the Presidential Palace said in a statement, Ghani would see some UAE traders and investors and Afghans residing in that country.
Ahmad Zia Massoud, special advisor on reforms, Hanif Atmar, national security advisor, Eng. Muhammad Khan, first deputy CEO and Omar Zakhilwal, economic advisor, are accompanying Ghani.
Abdul Ali Muhammadi, the president’s legal advisor, acting ministers of foreign affairs are also part of the visiting delegation.
