Shah Rukh Khan gifts bike to Afghan American

WASHINGTON (PAN): For Najira, an Afghan American and her husband Jimmy Sunday night would remain etched on their memory as a memorable time in their life.

The superstar of Indian movies Shah Rukh Khan not only picked them up from several thousands of people attending his concert in a Washington DC suburb, but also gifted them with Harley Davidson motor cycle.

The couple answered three questions correctly from “Chennai Express” — his recent movie. “This is a dream come true. This is the best moment of my life,” said Najira.

It was a moment worth remembering, she told Pajhwok Afghan News after her live interaction with Shah Rukh Khan on stage in a Washington, watched by more than 10,000 people.

Originally from Kabul, Najira has lived in the US for last 21 years, before which she spent one year in India. “I never dreamt in my life that I would meet my superstar Shah Rukh Khan.”

Accompanied by top Bollywood stars Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Malaika Arora and Farha Khan, the celebrated actor also presented Najira and her husband his poster with his signatures.
