Sherzai’s campaigner in Helmand shot dead

LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): Former presidential runner Gul Agha Sherzai’s campaign manager in southern Helmand province was shot dead in Lashkargah on Wednesday evening.

Abdul Malik, also a member of the Nawa district social council, was gunned down by two unidentified motorcyclists in the Sapyano area of the provincial council.

Police spokesman 1^st Lt. Shah Mahmood Ashna told Pajhwok Afghan News no one had been arrested so far in connection with the murder. Police were looking for the killers, he added.
