Teenage bomber captured in Kabul

KABUL) on Thursday said a 13-year-old would-be suicide bomber had been arrested in capital Kabul.

Bilal was detained in the 5th municipality district along with another person who had brought him to Kabul, the NDS said in a statement.

The target of the bomber was a public place, where many innocent people could have died if his attempt had not been foiled, it added.

The detainees confessed to their crime during initial investigations. Bilal said before being bought to Kabul he was given necessary training outside the country, a veiled reference to Pakistan.
