KABUL on Sunday said the level of cooperation and trust between Kabul and Islamabad was increasing.
A spokeswoman for the Foreign Office in Islamabad, Tasnim Aslam, said a section of Afghan media had wrongly attributed a statement to her.
In a statement from the Pakistan Embassy here said the question was about China’s role, which she viewed positively.
When she was asked if Afghanistan could use other countries to put pressure on Pakistan, she replied there was no need for such tactics.
“Pakistan considers stability in Afghanistan in its own interest and the level of cooperation and trust between the two countries is increasing.”
