KABUL (Pajhwok): Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr. Abdullah Abdullah on Wednesday said uniform nationwide development was the unity government’s top priority.
Speaking to Turkmen elders at his residence in Kabul, Abdullah said professional individuals from the minority tribe had the right to take part in working with the new government.
“We are aware of the problems face you. Your major problems include insecurity, joblessness and the lack of potable water,” he told the elders, assuring them that the new government would work to resolve all their problems.
He believed in judicious development benefiting all, saying professional individuals could be found in every tribe and the new government would practically show that new appointments were merit-based, irrespective of tribal lineage.
