MAIDAN SHAHAR (Pajhwok): The deputy governor of central Maidan Wardak province said on Monday homes would be built for 47 families displaced for different reasons.
Zakir Hussain Sultani said the new project would cost $94,000, with funds raised by the Afghans living in Denmark. The displaced families, he said, were presently living in different parts of the province.
Separately, an amount of $70,000 was raised by Afghans in Denmark for the construction of a poultry farm for 50 poor women.
