Woman killed, 6 wounded in accident

CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): A woman was killed and six others were wounded when the vehicle they were travelling in overturned in central Parwan province, an official said on Thursday.

Mehrabuddin Parwani, the traffic department head, told Pajhwok Afghan News the vehicle en route to Panjshir province overturned in the Double Road area due to a technical problem.

The accident occurred at around 2:00pm and the injured persons had been rushed to hospital. Three of the wounded were in critical conditions, hospital sources said.

Meanwhile, six people were killed, including a woman and a child, and another two wounded in a separate traffic accident in northern Faryab province on Thursday.
