Insurgents kill 3 civilians abducted in Nuristan

JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Militants have killed three people in eastern Nuristan province for cooperation with the government, an official said on Wednesday.

The victims had been kidnapped some days back and their bodies were handed over to their families today, Border Police Commander Col. Mohammad Ayub Hussainkhel told Pajhwok Afghan News.

He said the slain men were common people and did not have any government jobs. Police have opened an investigation into the incident.
