200 graduate from Khost training centre
KHOST CITY (Pajhwok): At least 200 trainees, including a number of girls, have graduated from the computer and English language training centre in southeastern Khost province, an official said on Saturday.
The participants received certificates from the training centre at a graduation ceremony, which was attended by the governor, senior provincial officials and tribal elders.
Nasir Ahmad Roshan, director of the Lincoln Training Centre, told Pajhwok Afghan News it was the 13th graduation ceremony arranged for 200 students.
He said 150 students received training in computer science and 50 others including 12 girls received English Language learning course.
“All subjects in the centre is being taught free of cost. Our mission is to educate people with modern science and make them ready to serve people, he added.
Noorullah, a graduate, said he had learnt important computer skills during the six months course.. “I learned Windows Operating System, Office programmes and others. Now I can easily do an office job,” he said.
