Maulvi Motawakil detained in Kabul

KABUL Mustafa said on Saturday.

Mustafa told Pajhwok Afghan News Maulvi Obaidullah Motawakil was arrested in the Company area of Kabul along with one of his coworkers on Friday afternoon.

Motawakil was preacher at a mosque besides teaching at a seminary in the area; he was accused of subscribing to the Dayesh ideology.

Rejecting the allegation, Mustafa urged the government to release Motawakil. Pajhwok Afghan News attempted but could not obtain the view of security officials in this regard.
