KABUL on Saturday evaluated the performance and services by hospitals in the 13th police district of Kabul.
A statement from the ministry said Dr. Ferozuddin Feroz visited more than six public and private hospitals in Dasht-i-Barchi and spoke to patients and doctors.
Some private hospitals were found lacking basic standards and were given an ultimatum by the minister to improve their services or face closure.
Watan and Sardar Kayenat were among the hospitals visited by Feroz and given directions on how to improve their services.
Feroz promised construction work on Jinnah Hospital in the area would be completed soon, providing standard services to residents.
