KABUL (Pajhwok): A number of disabled security personnel on Saturday warned to attack the Ministry of Defense (MoD) if their stipends were not paid immediately.
They gathered in front of the MoD in Kabul, saying President Ashraf Ghani had promised to allocate land plots and give 200,000 afghanis to each person but that pledge was far from being honoured.
Lt. Qader Shah, former commander of 215th Maiwand Military Corps, said: “I have lost one of my legs in a suicide attack. I need my due salary.”
