JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Five people were wounded on Saturday when suicide bomber blew himself up near a vehicle of intelligence agents in the Behsud district of eastern Nangarhar province.
Three National Directorate of Security (NDS) personnel and two civilians were wounded in the attack, the governor’s office said in a statement. The assault occurred at 1pm.
In other incident, a bomb was defused in front of the Sherzai Stadium in Jalalabad, Ahmedzai Abdulzai, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News.

As usual, the Taliban accepted the responsibility for the bomb blasts in Nangarhar, saying two Afghan security officials were injured and their Ranger pick-up destroyed.
