Kunduz blast leaves 10 wounded
KUNDUZ CITY (Pajhwok): At least 10 people including police officers were wounded in a blast in northeastern Kunduz province, an official said Saturday.
Kunduz police spokesman Sayed Sarwar Hussaini told Pajhwok Afghan News that the incident took place when the police officer in his corolla car was heading to his office in Zir Dawra area of Kunduz City at around 9.00 am this morning.
He said the explosives were rigged in a bicycle that left two police officers and eight civilians including a small schoolgirl wounded.
One of the injured was said to be in critical condition and shifted to a hospital for treatment, he added.
Security officials said that it was remotely controlled bomb. Taliban, however, did not comment on the incident as of yet.
