Kunar police chief survives bomb attack
KABUL (Pajhwok): The police chief for eastern Kunar province escaped unhurt in a roadside bomb attack that injured his three bodyguards in the Sarobi district of central Kabul province on Wednesday.
“The incident took place at around 1:30pm when our convoy was heading to Kunar from Kabul,” Syedkhel told Pajhwok Afghan News.
He said the bomb struck the vehicle of his bodyguards, injuring three of them.
