Unity leaders should jointly solve domestic problems
KABUL (Pajhwok): Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Abdullah Abdullah on Wednesday said the two leaders of the unity government should jointly resolve domestic problems.
It quoted Abdullah as saying that Afghanistan’s relations with the United States had improved with the formation of the unity government in Kabul.
The CEO said the two leaders of the national unity government should jointly decide and resolve domestic problems on domestic level.
The unity government was formed six months ago after a disputed presidential election last year. So far the government has been unable to complete the cabinet and appoint most of the governors.
The US special representative said his country was committed to long-term support to the national unity government in Afghanistan.
Feldman believed a good opportunity had emerged for peace in Afghanistan and the opportunity should be availed.
