CRDSA distributes goats among Ghor families
FIROZKOH (Pajhwok): In a move to develop livestock sector, Coordination of Rehabilitation and Development Services for Afghanistan (CRDSA) on Wednesday distributed goats of high-breed to 120 repatriated families in western Ghor province.
CRDSA Director Jamaluddin Yaqoobi said the families were provided with three months training in better breeding of livestock.
After the training, each participant provided with three goats. Funds for the livestock assistance were provided by the Bureau of Population Refugees and Migration (BPRM).
As many as 80 women and 40 men from Shahrak-i-Zanan, Tapa Maidan, Shahrak-i-Muhajarin, Dara-i-Qazi, Jar-i-Saifur villages and Firozkoh City took part in the training organized jointly by the agriculture, refugees and work and social affairs departments.
Juma Gul, one of the trainees, said: “We learned much more about protection, feeding and health of goats during our three months training.”
