A group of terror busted in Herat
HERAT (Pajhwok): Security officials in western Herat province detained 11 terrorists allegedly involved in smuggling of weapons, rape and other anti-state activities, provincial acting police chief said on Wednesday.
Col. Abdul Hamid Roozi told a press conference the group of five men was held. The group, he said was involved in the killing and injuring of police officials Herat City, the provincial capital.
He said the gang leader Farid has received 100,000 afs for killing every single Afghan police officer from a Taliban leader known as Haji Wazir.
The group confessed of staging terror attacks during last two months in the province.
