Farah public welfare official shot dead
FARAH CITY (Pajhwok): Taliban militants shot a senior official of public welfare department dead inside his home in western Farah province, the Pishtrud district chief said on Thursday.
Ghausuddin told Pajhwok Afghan News that gunmen forced their way inside Muhammad Hashim, the public welfare department official, home late Wednesday night in Gajgeen locality.
The rebels shot at Hashim several times inside his home and then fled the scene. The slain official had his job in Farah City, the provincial capital, but his home is situated in Gajgeen village.
However, no one so far claimed credit for his killing.
