District police chief escapes unhurt in blast
MAIDAN SHAHR (Pajhwok): Police chief for Sayed Abad District escaped unhurt while his two guards wounded in a roadside blast on main Kabul-Ghazni Highway on Friday in central Maidan Wardak province, the governor’s spokesman said.
Attaullah Khogyani told Pajhwok Afghan News Col. Saidan Zarab Shah, the district police chief, was travelling when his vehicle struck a planted bomb.
Taliban, however, have not yet commented on the incident.
