The new members include Finance Minister Eklil Hakimi, Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Hikmat Khalil Karzai, Urban Development Minister Syed Sadat Mansoor Naderi, president political advisor Dr. Abdul Ali Mohammadi and few more including top businessmen, the ACB said in a statement.

The new members would play their role in devising prudent policies for the promotion of cricket game, keeping in view the ACB ‘s independence and acting in line with the established rules and ICC standards, the statement said.

ACB chairman Nasimullah Danish told Pajhwok Afghan News the appointment of new members was a step forward in ensuring transparency and enabling the ACB to meet international demands and ICC requirements.
