Logar blast leaves 2 ANA soldiers dead, 2 hurt
PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): Two Afghan National Army (ANA) soldiers were killed and as many wounded in a roadside blast in Pul-i-Alam, the capital city of central Logar province, an official said on Thursday.
Mohammad Darwaish, the spokesman for acting governor, told Pajhwok Afghan news that ANA soldiers were on their way to a security check post when a planted bomb went-off.
Hasibullah, an eye witness, said the incident took place three kilometres away from the police station in Baraki Barak district. The residents of the locality expressed grave concern over the surging insecurity in the province.
As usual, Taliban claimed credit for the incident.
