NSC tasked to take best care of injured security forces
KABUL (Pajhwok): President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani on Sunday issued directives to officials of National Security Council (NSC) to pay proper attention to injured security personnel and their families.
The president made these remarks in a video conference with governors and security officials of western Farah, Badghis, Ghor and Herat provinces, a statement from the Presidential Palace said.
The NSC advisor Mohammad Hanif Atmar, Interior Minister Noor-ul-Haq Ulumi, Acting Defence Minister Enayatullah Nazari, Armey Chief Sher Mohammad Karimi and other senior security officials were also present during the conference.
The president and provincial officials during live conversation discussed various issues pertaining to law and order and over all security of western zone.
The president praised armed forces during recently conducted clearing operations against anti-state elements. He ordered the western zone corps commander to send him names of soldiers who demonstrated valor while defending the motherland.
The president advised Independent Directorate of Local Governance (IDLG) to address public issues in Ghor and Badghis provinces.
