Terror group busted in Herat: spy agency
KABUL (Pajhwok): A group of terrorists was arrested while busy making bombs during a raid in western Herat province, the spy agency said on Wednesday.
The terrorists were arrended red-handed while making bomb in water gallons, magnetic bombs and other IEDs, the National Directorate of Security (NDS) said in a statement.
The raid also resulted in capturing an important quantity of explosive devices, including three landmines, four hand-grenades, 16 electronic capsules, three remote controls, eight mobile phones used for explosives’ detonation, 10 strong magnets, a GPS, four batteries (each nine volts), five meter electric line, a computer, a pistol, a motorcycle, 29 pages guiding manual for making improvised explosive devices and Taliban’s propaganda documents.
The statement said the terror group was planning to stage a series of sabotage acts in Herat City.
