Potassium chloride filled talcum bottles seized
KABUL (Pajhwok): Intelligence officials seized potassium chloride skillfully filled in 384 talcum powder bottles in capital Kabul, the spy agency said on Sunday.
The National Directorate of Security (NDS) in a statement said the Haqqani terror network wanted to use the potassium chloride in making explosives for suicide attacks.
It claimed the substance had been skillfully placed in bottles of talcum power for children across the Afghanistan borders and sent in cargo as commercial goods to Kabul.
The materials had been kept in a house in the limits of the eighth police district. Intelligence officials raided the house and captured the substance, the statement said.
