Kabul, Moscow stress joint fight against terror
KABUL (Pajhwok): Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev on Tuesday called on President Ashraf Ghani at the Presidential Palace.
A statement from the Presidential Palace in Kabul said Afghanistan and the Russian Federation agreed that terrorism was an international phenomenon that needed more cooperation and joint strategy to be eliminated.
Both the dignitaries discussed various issues pertaining to security, aid and economic development of Afghanistan, the statement said.
It added the two leaders termed terrorism a huge threat to regional and global security and stressed enhanced regional cooperation and joint strategies to confront it.
