Iranian spy escapes from Nimroz jail
ZARANJ (Pajhwok): An Iranian spy has escaped from prison in southwestern Nimroz province after taking advantage of prison visiting hours, officials said on Thursday.
The man, who had been sentenced to 15 years in jail on the charge of spying for Iran, escaped from jail a day earlier, a security official said on condition of anonymity.
A police official, also speaking on condition of anonymity, the fugitive was a resident of western Farah province, but did not name him. He had served two years of his jail term.
