Taliban’s shadow governor among 15 rebels dead in airstrike
KABUL (Pajhwok): At least 15 militants, including Taliban’s shadow governor and two dreaded commanders, were killed in an airstrike in eastern Kunar province, the National Directorate of Security (NDS) said on Sunday.
The air assault took place in Dangam district during a joint operation following a tip-off, the statement said.
Taliban’s shadow governor for Kunar Umar Zadran, notorious commander Maulvi Asghar and Shahabuddin were among the slain rebels.
