Afghan doctors perform complicated brain surgery
In a statement, the National Directorate of Security (NDS) said the operation was conducted on Mohammad Reza who suffered brain tumor in cerebellum. The doctors successfully removed the tumor.
Due to the complications of the tumor, the patient suffered from reduced eyesight, lack of balance, headaches, drowsiness and nausea. The statement said the patient was now stable.
According to the doctors, this was the second most complicated brain surgery carried out in Afghanistan.
