1 official, 3 gunmen dead in NDS office attack
KABUL (Pajhwok): At least three gunmen and an intelligence official were killed when gunmen on Tuesday mounted attack on the office of National Directorate of Security (NDS) in Rahman Mena locality of capital Kabul, a police official said
Lt. Gen. Abul Rahman Rahimi, Kabul police chief, told media that a suicide bomber smashed his motorbike into the gate of the office of the intelligence agency.
The attacker, he said was followed by two other suicide bombers who wanted to force their way inside the facility but they were shot dead by security officials.
All the three suicide bombers and an NDS official were killed and another intelligence official wounded in the attack.
Taliban claimed credit for the attack.
