2 wounded as suicide bomber hits foreign troop convoy
KABUL (Pajhwok): A civilian and a foreign advisor were wounded on Tuesday when a suicide bomber targeted a convoy of foreign troops in the Shah Shaheed area of Kabul, an eyewitness said
Wishing anonymity, the eyewitness said that a bullet-proof vehicle was comprehensively damaged in the explosion which took place at 12:00 afternoon.
The bomber carried out the attack close to the residence of former member of Wolesi Jirga Bacha Khan Zadran. Soon after the blast, security forces rushed to the scene and cordoned ff the area.
Saddiq Saddiqi, spokesman for the Ministry of Interior, confirmed the explosion but he had not details to share.
NATO officials also confirmed the blast but did not give details.
