29 wounded in Ghazni traffic accident
GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): As many as 29 passengers, including two children, are wounded in a traffic mishap on Kabul-Kandahar highway in southern Ghazni on Monday, an official says.
Shafiq Nang, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News 29 persons, including a woman and two children, were wounded when two-passenger bus collided head-on on Kabul-Kandahar highway.
The wounded, he said were instantly shifted to hospital.
Baz Mohammad Himat, director of Ghazni Civil Hospital, confirmed receiving 29 wounded persons with four of them in critical condition.
Acting Governor Mohammad Musa Khan Akbarzada directed hospital staff to provide best medical treatment to the injured persons, a statement said, adding that the governor expressed his sorrow and grief over the accident.
