2 injured in Kabul magnetic blast
KABUL (Pajhwok): Two civilians were wounded in a magnetic bomb blast on a police ranger in the capital Kabul on Thursday morning, an official said.
Hamayon Aini, the 119 police helpline chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place when a magnetic bomb attached to a police ranger went off in Pul-I-Baghi Omomi area of the city this morning.
He said there was no police inside the vehicle at the time of the incident but two civilians were wounded.
Aini added that a roadside bomb in Kampani area of Kabul also exploded on Wednesday evening but had no casualties.
However, Najibullah, a resident of Qazi village of Paghman district, said that one of his nephews was killed in Kampani bomb blast.
He said that his nephew was working in Kabul airport and his car was hit by the bomb when he was on his way home yesterday evening.
Aini said the aim of these blasts were to create insecurity and worries among people.
