Ulumi commends troop achievements against militants

KABUL (Pajhwok): Interior Minister Noor-ul-Haq Ulumi on Saturday warned militants to shun violence or be ready for decisive action by security forces.

He expressed these views at a meeting of security officials from Ministry of Interior (MoI) where the forces’ performance and operational preparedness were discussed.

Ulumi said that enemy wanted to turn the entire country into battle fielded, spread chaos and instability everywhere.

Senior commander of the foreign forces was present during the meeting. He praised the role of Afghan forces and termed the ongoing year as a deadly one for security forces.

 He expressed satisfaction over the performance of security forces and praised their achievements against the enemy.
