Aandar mine explosion leaves 3 women dead

GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): Three womeninfo-icon were killed and a man wounded on Monday when a motorbike struck a roadside landmine in the Aandar district of southern Ghazni province, an official said.

Shafique Nang, the governor’s spokesman, said: “The victims were on their way to offer condolences following the demise of a relative when the roadside mine went-off, leaving the three women dead.”

Mohammad Rahim, a resident of Khar village, said the slain and wounded belonged to the same family. Abdullah, a medic, said the wounded man was in stable condition.

Governor Musa Khan Akbarzada expressed grief over the killing of women and accused the enemy of Afghanistaninfo-icon of planting roadside bombs.
