President inquires after health of Kabul's blast victims
A suicide bomber smashed his explosive-laden vehicle into the building of National Directorate of Security (NDS) close to the Ministry of Defence (MoD) in capital Kabul early Friday, leaving 8 persons dead and 400 wounded, health official said.
The explosion was so powerful that it jolted several parts of capital Kabul. The blast took place at around 1:00 am, an official said.
The president directed doctors and other medical staff to provide all possible services to the wounded persons. The president was told that most of the injured were in stable condition.
