Jundullah leader killed in Kunduz along with 4 fighters
KABUL (Pajhwok): The spy agency on Monday said a leader of the Jundullah group has been killed in an airstrike along with four of his fighters in Chardara district of northern Kunduz province.
The National Directorate of Security (NDS) said in a statement Qari Ghulam Hazrat aka Abu Hazifa was killed at 4:30pm in an airstrike coordinated by the agency.
According to NDS, Ghulam Hazrat’s deputy’s Amar and three other fighters were also killed in the assault.
The statement called Ghulam Hazrat as one of the key commanders leading conflict against security forces in Kunduz province.
He was leading a major terrorist network in Kunduz and was responsible for taking lives of dozens of innocent civilians, the statement concluded.
