Child dead, 4 injured in Parwan road accidents
CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): A child has been killed and four other people were wounded as a result of two traffic accidents in the central province of Parwan, officials said on Monday.
Zariba, a student of fourth grade, was passing the road at 8am when he was hit by a speeding car in the Qala-i-Sahraee area of Jabalus Saraj district, the administrative head of the town said.
Samandar Sikandari told Pajhwok Afghan News the child died on the spot and the driver had been detained by police.
Meanwhile, a car travelling from the Bagram district of Parwan to Kabul flipped over in Daspechri area, the district police chief said.
Mohammad Masoom Farza said four people were injured in the mishap. The injured were taken to a Kabul hospital.
