4 alleged drug dealers detained in Bamyan, say police
BAMYAN CITY (Pajhwok): Four people have been detained on charges of dealing in drugs in the central province of Bamyan, officials said on Friday.
The detainees, involved in selling heroin and opium, were arrested by security personnel, the counternarcotics officer at the police headquarters said.
Col. Naqibullah told Pajhwok Afghan News: “The four people were arrested from a chips shop and a room in Bamyan City with two kilograms of drugs.”
He said the detainees had confessed smuggling the drugs from the Ghondak area of the province into the capital. Cases against them would be sent to the prosecution office as police interrogation has been completed.”
