KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): In his Eid message, former president Hamid Karzai has said instability and war in Afghanistaninfo-icon was for the interest of others, but only victimized Afghans.

Hamid Karzai, in his message, also felicitated his countrymen and Muslims around the worldinfo-icon on Eid-ul-Adha celebrations.

For the sake of peace and tranquility, the former president, urged people for unity. “History is witness that our freedom and well-being is knotted with our unity and hard work. I request all Afghans to be united in these sensitive times and leave no stone unturned for the development and construction of this country,” added Karzai.

“Instability and war is for the interest of others and only our nation is victimized. We should be alert to save our country from the grip and interference of foreigners and be united for our country’s security, peace and construction,” continued Karzai.

Karzai has once again voiced his concerns regarding mass exodus of Afghan youth to foreign countries, saying: “I want to tell the youth that are our country’s strength and tomorrow’s leaders to avoid going to foreign lands. With hard work they should develop Afghanistan to the point is their ideal.”
