American forces come under attack in Bagram
CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): A roadside bomb ripped through a convoy of American forces in the Bagram district of central Parwan province, damaging a tank, an official said on Sunday.
The blast took place on Saturday night in the district’s Seghan area, said the district police chief, Col. Mohammad Masoom Farza. He said the American forces were on a patrol when the blast took place. The NATO-led troops survived the blast, but one of their vehicles got damaged.
The American forces media office also confirmed the blast, saying there were no casualties.
Taliban’s spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid claimed four American troops were killed in the roadside bombing.
